With a diverse career spanning photography, film and legal consulting in the entertainment industry, David has worked with iconic figures such as Dr. Peter Magubane. This website serves as a platform to showcase his career, experience and collection of vintage prints available for purchase.
David Meyer-Gollan was born on November 18, 1973. He holds a Law Degree (B Juris LLB) and a Political Science degree (Cum Laude) from the University of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He further pursued a diploma in filmmaking at Raindance in London and is a certified Producer and Director from the Hollywood Film Institute in Los Angeles.
David has worked in the entertainment industry across London, Los Angeles, Johannesburg, and Cape Town in multiple roles, including Actor, Producer, First Assistant Director and Curator. Renowned entertainment lawyer Mark Litwak mentored him at his Beverly Hills law firm.
With a unique blend of legal expertise and artistic vision, David works as a photographer, filmmaker and entertainment law consultant. He is also the founder and main sponsor of the Peter Magubane History Archive (PMHA), preserving the legacy of one of South Africa’s most important photographers.

David’s collection of rare and vintage prints is available for purchase. These include historical and cultural photographs, many captured in collaboration with Dr. Peter Magubane. David preserves significant moments in South Africa’s history and visual storytelling through these prints.
